Jeanie Bliley Memorial Tournament

Jean "Jeanie" Berkeley Bliley, was one of the association's most popular and passionate competitors.  Mrs. Norbert Bliley, an eight-time women's club champion at Willow Oaks, a former RWGA president (2002-01), and a perennial championship-flight contender at the city level, was described as  "a wonderful competitor, as feisty as they come, but always fair and decent in her approach to the game and her opponents." Those who knew her best say they miss her wit, smile, and gregarious nature.  RWGA sponsored the Jeanie Bliley Memorial Tournament at Willow Oaks in her honor from 2008 to 2018.  In 2019 the tournament was replaced by The Memorial Tournament.
